I've got a number of whitepapers currently in Word format and I want them converted to our new InDesign whitepaper format. For this posting, I'm looking for someone to just convert one document. We have a number of these (10+) plus another format that will follow if we like the output.
We will be sending you both the Microsoft Word document and the new InDesign template. First you will transfer all text from Microsoft Word into the new InDesign template.
Then, you will adjust the text with the pre-existing Paragraph and Character Styles we have already set up.
Here are the specifics:
Cover - transfer header, subheader, and date to the appropriate text boxes (using pre-existing formatting)
Use "B-Front" Master Page
Transfer entirety of body copy to text boxes that align to the user-created guides on each page
Use "A-Master" Master Page
Use "Body Copy" Paragraph Style
Format the headers
Primary headers (red) use three character styles:
First letter: "H1a" with two spaces before and after
Remaining characters: "H1b"
Space between first letter and remaining characters: "H1 Spacer" (one space)
Secondary headers: use "H2" Character Style
Breaks after headers:
Primary header: one break "H1b" Character Style, one break in "Body Text" character style
Secondary header: one break in "H2" Character Style
Format the lists
Bulleted List: "List Text" Character Style, "Bullets Red" Paragraph Style
Numbered List: "List Text" Character Style, "Numbers Red" Paragraph Style
Format the quotes
Transfer quote (with person quoted) to pre-existing (blue) quote box
Align quote box to right of page
Use "Basic Paragraph" Paragraph Style
Quote Body: use "Quote Body" Character Style
Person Quoted: use "Quoted Person" Character Style
Format the protips - NOTE: these should be used for any remaining information outside the body text, besides quotes
Transfer text to pre-existing protip box
Header: use "Protip Header" Character Style
Body: use "Protip Body" Character Style
Hi ciptaanterindah,
I am an experienced Indesigner. Please look at my profile: lvgmaths. I have worked for major publishers, so I convert Word documents to Indesign layout all the time.
Which version of Indesign would you like the project to be done in? I have licenses for 5.5, 6 and CC.
I can also provide print-ready PDFs as well as the packaged open files. Which fonts will you be using, or will you be providing the fonts. I am licensed for Adobe 11.1 fontfolio.
Thank you for the opportunity to bid.
Regards
lvgmaths
Hi,
I work as graphic designer in printing house and I have experience in work with InDesign CS5.
I set time limit on 30 hours per week because I don't have idea about files you will send to me. I will be able to give more objective estimation when I see real job details.
Feel free to contact me.
Best regards,
Zoran
