Hello there, My name is Maxwell Sadowski and I'm an experienced audio-visual professional. Dear Sir/Maam, With great enthusiasm, I am very happy to apply for the role of Videographer posted in Freelancer. Coming from the same educational background, I am very excited and consider myself appropriate for this position. Starting with something about myself, I am originally from Nepal. I currently live in North Sydney and pursuing a degree in filmmaking from TAFE NSW. I am a 19 year old dynamic person always willing to try something new. I am a high school graduate with a training in photography and graphic designing. Coming to the experience I’ve had so far, I have worked as a sales person/photographer for Santas Photo Factory. Besides, I have some experience in freelancing. I have experience with shooting film productions that includes noir scenes, documentaries and music videos. I have my own kit including Canon DSLRs, mics, stabilizer, tripod, recorder and few lenses. Also, I can work with wide ranges of camera and other equipment. I can work efficiently with software like Photoshop, Premiere and Lightroom. As every other student, I’ve been looking for a part time job preferably in my own field not just to improve my skills but at the same time compliment my studies as well. Thanks for considering my proposal. I'm available to work weekday evenings with a weeks notice as i'm studying part time on my second degree and freelancing for work. I've had experience in working on event production teams before organising marketing material and video production for international conferences. At the events I coordinated photography and print production. Although I have little experience in sound and lighting, I'm very tech savvy and easy to get along with which will make my initial training a breeze. I already work in the industry around Sydney. I work for Australian Crewing, frequently working with Chameleon, Norwest, Staging Connections, Opera Australia and any of the other big production crews. Can read a plot, run motors, set up lights and their DMX universes etc operate simple lighting boards (and confident I could pick up more advanced systems), set up audio no worries and operate a sound desk and do the audio live, build truss (got my podger handy or if global, my hammer), have a stack of electrical tape in all colours complimentary mostly from Chameleon (thanks), and can most importantly liaise with seniors and work well in a team. I frequently work venues such as Fox Studios, the ICCS, Qudos Bank Arena out in Homebush, Carriageworks in Redfern, Sydney Town Hall, Byron Kennedy Hall, the Riverside theatre in Parramatta, Capitol Theatre, the State Theatre; and many many more smaller locations for more cosy gigs.
