Excel VBA Expert

I am looking for an Excel Expert for a long term project. Here is a test question: I have a sheet in Excel 2007 that contains 10 columns, each with data validation pointing to various lists in another sheet. Users have access to this sheet to enter data manually. Often users copy and paste their cells or entire rows, e.g. data from one month (one of the columns) gets pasted into another row. In this case the data validation is overwritten, but still accurate as long as the copy and paste was from the same column. However if a user wanted to overwrite and individual cell (because e.g. she was frustrated with data validation limitation), we loose the ability to find such violation of the data validation rules. Question 1. In case an overwrite such as the latter occurs, how can we prevent int Excel 2007 2. If we can't prevent it, how can we flag it for the auditor (to show that the data is invalid) Please let me know your ideas, to help me better asses your qualifications 1) Set up your data validation list , for each cell to fill 2) Protect the spreadsheet with allowed data entry option 3) Set up conditional formatting for each entry cells with the option "Use a formula to determine which cells to Form 4) Use this formula =not (+max ((D2=J3:J5)*1)) and put format to red copy the name patata in the sheet2 and paste it in sheet 1 d2 , it turns red: If D2 = patata , then D2 turns to red because it is not contained in the validation list J3:J5 .
