I would welcome assistance on a phone-based project starting this week and lasting a few weeks. The work is for our lubricant client and the calls are to potential government customers.
The task is to make qualification calls (I will provide a database of locations and contacts, but there might be need for you to also find additional people to call on via website directories or LinkedIn. Also, you may need to find correct phone numbers.) to municipalities in the US to determine their interest in considering a change to the lubricants they are using for the fleet equipment (I will provide a questionnaire).
• All work will need to be tracked in a mutually editable spreadsheet (e.g. DropBox or Google Docs)
• All completed questionnaires will need to be posted in a shared environment too
The time commitment is a few hours per weekday for a few weeks.
This will require that you have experience making outbound calls and have a reliable means for making calls (e.g. Google Voice or Skype). These are not traditional "sales" calls but instead more about gathering intel, identifying a need or fit, verifying that we're talking to a decision maker, and confirming their interest in learning more. The calls will generally be less than 10 minutes long but the more information you obtain from the prospect the better so you need to be able to 'think on your feet' and not robotically follow the script. Also, getting the right person on the phone will take effort and persistence - these people are not always at their desk - so a high volume of attempts per calling session is important.
I'm very interested in getting your work done. I feel confident to complete it according to your requirements with high proficiency and with professional initiatives. Kindly get back to me with more details. I look forward to working and also to your prompt and favorable reply. Thanks in advance!
