As a kid on Saturday mornings, I was dragged to Cantonese school, away from my love of the 90’s X-Men cartoon. Much to the other kids’ dismay, I protested with a Cajun accent and threw make believe incinerated playing cards because I wanted to be Gambit. Nowadays, I channel that eccentric imagination to be a screenwriter and fun loving geek.
As a former Arad Productions intern, I basically researched every Spider Man villain to ever exist. Working in development, I've read dozens of scripts, and know how to bring an idea through the many iterations of a script. I also have an MFA in screenwriting, where I honed structure, dialogue, and adapt material. Last year, I was one of the few accepted talents in a transmedia training program to construct a bible and young adult comic based IP.
Some of my favorite games are WarCraft III, Metal Gear Solid, and most recently, the Tales from the Borderland I absolutely have loved. Although games don't necessarily require a narrative, I love the interactivity of combining gameplay with story. If you were to pick me, I would have an extensive meeting to discuss your expectations, and then craft a story that best suits the needs of the project.
If you have any questions or would like to read short samples of my writing, feel free to contact me. I currently live in Fremont, CA, but I have lived in Los Angeles when I was working in Hollywood.
