Optimise 33 lines of Matlab script by converting to c++ for use via MEX file.

I require someone who is skilled and well versed in both Matlab and C++ as will need to be able to understand the original MATLAB script well enough to then convert to solid C++ code. The purpose of the project is to speed up the run time as at present is not acceptable. Part of the work has already been done by a freelancer who I work with regularly on Matlab projects but his C++ skills are not quite adequate to complete. He has supplied a full write up of his findings which identify a major bottleneck which once converted fully should help with speeding up the run time. He has also supplied the code he has already written and the only issue appears to be that there are subtle differences with the output result(s) which he cant seem to rectify. This should be relatively simple and money for old rope for the right freelancer who has the requisite skills in both Matlab and C++. This project itself is small but essential to moving forward with the next stage which involves automating the whole process with Monte Carlo simulation(s) or some such other method(s) deemed appropriate and beneficial. That next phase will be started straight after the optimisation is completed and will be available as first refusal to the freelancer who completes this work to the required standard should they wish so. There are 8 such projects that require the same works as listed above. I am looking to begin right away and finish as soon as is feasible without compromising quality of work.
