Architecture overview to assist with design of new MVC Application. I am creating a new system with Devexpress tools for the front end, MVC, Webapi (some calls will be made for the system being built, others will be used by outside systems), C#, and an Azure hosted database with a complex data relationship. The Data Access will be Entity Framework with Database first (not an option to do code first as this is an existing DB.) There will also be a Business Logic Layer for wrapping the DAL functions. Some functions may require more than a simple save to DB and will require data manipulation in BLL. I will not be able to provide working code, even with a NDA. I may request sample Proof of Concepts to be provided in order for me to incorporate into the system. I am ideally looking for someone to review code with and make sure that I am coding the full system in a clean, flexible and most importantly relatively safe way. I am looking for someone who can get on a desktop sharing system such as [login to view URL] or Skype and review current code and answer questions. There will be some teaching involved but I have been working in the field for a long time and I learn quickly. Just not used the latest tech and need someone to help guide me. This is NOT a full time gig. I am approved for 4 hours of consulting a week in the beginning but may pay extra for proof of concept projects or sample code written offline.
