Mixed Agriculture Business Plan with Funding

We run a small agricultural project which has taken a mixed agriculture lines approach. It is run by a team of dedicated personnel with little formal trainings in agriculture but who seem excited about the prospects of developing further in this industry. The farm has grown out of the traditions of the local people and we were keen not to introduce too many "modern" ideas too fast.  We are looking for help from an agronomist and finance expert team to write a one year and 5 year business plan long term plans. We hope this will allow us to identify support / initiatives to ensure streamline quality and improve productive capacity of 1. a 4 acre mixed vegetation farm 2. a flock of goats and collection of chickens. The scale of the farming is community level: supplementing seasonal food stuff for ourselves, the neighbourhood and ocassional guests. Although we have made great strides in self learning over the past few years. Our biggest shortcoming is our human capital which is not sufficiently trained in the challenges to be expected in different stages of plant life cycle and pitfalls and demands in animal husbandry. We have experimented alot and understand the difficult multifaceted problems in agriculture. With better knowledge more informed decisions that would be taken ensuring quality and high production in the nearer future.  We would  need to find finance that helps give support for intiatives to ( typically towards human capital development or knowledge acquisition) product / service development capacity growth improve the way we operate business either by reduce operation costs and keeping tabs on unfolding farm issues. We have been following rain fed agricultural practices over the past 5 years to help develop a solid understanding of issues. We hope this strategy has put us in a better postion not to over invest if an irrigation system is seen as the best way forward. These Project is managed and sponsored by Master level Computing/ IT trained person. He has keenly being developing and would like to develop further more scientific methods of analysis of  production data in terms of yields and quality  Understand the effects of different inputs on production
