I have a lot of batteries I have to monitor the voltage on. Rather then check every battery every hour I’d like to automate this. I’d like a circuit to attach to each battery that can read the voltage and send the result to a web page. There will be wi-fi in the area. The sender must be able to transmit 200 meters. To cut costs one possibility is to send the voltage to a receiver (or several receivers) and then send the result to a web page. I need to measure from 11- 15 volt at steps at 0.1 voltage steps. Every sender must have an ID so I can identify the battery with low voltage. The voltage source for the sender will be the same battery as it’s monitoring. It is important to minimize the current used for the sender so the sender is not responsible for tapping the battery.

Hello I have got your job posting “Build a circuit for multiple voltage measurements and publish on website” and I am very much interested to work in your project. I am a circuit designer and have more than 5 years experience of working with the embedded systems(Arduino,Rasberry pi ,ARM processors ,PIC microcontrollers,Wireless boards,TFT Touch Displays,All types of sensors and actuators). i have done tons of similar projects So, I think you’ll find, I have the skills you’re looking for. For more on my skills and successfully finished projects, please have a look on my Profile and Portfolio. I have all the components available here with me so i will develop a working prototype according to your specifications and then send you the code and schematics so things will work for sure.I will remotely guide you and help you build the system on your side.I also offer unlimited revisions of the code and you get timely updates of the project. I am always available on Email and Skype. Please have a voice or video chat if necessary. I will be available more than 60 hours per week and able to start your project as soon as possible according to you. Thank you for your consideration, Best Regards, Haseeb Shafqat

Hello dear I have experience in designing electronics circuits and can make your project. I will make your project practically on breadboard and will provide you circuit, code and PCB design. I can also develop android apps that can communicate with the hardware. I will design your project using extra cheap components that will be beneficial for you if you are planning to make a commercial product. I also have experience with Bluetooth Low Energy and Wifi Chips and have done IoT projects If you wish we can discuss in chat.

Dear sir. I can propose to use ESP8266 WiFi module with inexpensive step-down buck power DC-DC module. You will have a very low power consumption and wide input voltage range. That's extremely low-cost module, it has a single ADC input, so it's good for measurement of one battery on the moving device (cart or something). Also, it have very good low-power sleep mode, so if you will measure the battery, for example, one time per several minutes, the power consumption will be extremely low. In that case, you can use public MQTT service (there is a lot of them) or Thingiverse to collect and display a voltage for all your devices. I will provide a link to the components (ebay/aliexpress) and make a working prototype at my side as the proof of work. I will provide a connection diagram. Also, I will make an initial setup of the web part and provide an instruction how to add new sensors. I also can make some batch quantity of the working modules, in that case, the price will be higher (the cost of the components, assembling and delivery will be included). If you need to have a design of the single PCB to install all components - that's also discussable. The range of WiFi connection can be 200 or more meters, but that also depends on the antenna of the WiFi access point. (the longest distance for ESP8266 modules was 1.5 Km with powerful access point).

Hi, I can design using a small Microcontroller(PIC/STM32/AVR), WIFI Module(ESP8266) and DC-DC Converter. BOM cost will be around 8-10$. Schematic and PCB Layout i will use KICAD 4.0.4. Small DC-DC converter module is required to reduce power wastage. Thanks and Regards, Santosh

hi, I have experience in power electronics. For your project I need a microcontroller with multiple ADC channels. After reading voltages the data can be transmitted to a master site by using NRF24 type transceivers. To publish data online I can use MQTT server with Wi-Fi device like Esp8266. How many batteries do you have? Are they attached in series ? Regards

What exactly do you want to do? If your batteries are re-chargeable and you want to monitor voltage during charging then it is your chargers work to show you the voltage for all batterries. Your batteries are serially connected or in parralel? What type of batteries, what type of usage you do with the batteries, e.g. you use them for supplying voltage to some automation? I can provide solution here but need more info.

Hi... Thank you for reading this before we begin please stated how many device that are you using therefore how many battery sensor is it centralize system or de-centralize to make simplicity of this system may I suggest the use of IoT free application to be used on your smartphone rather than using a web browser (please see milestone no.3) to cut the budget of this system and may I suggest the use of centralized wireless network rather than a wireless sensor network (I have something in mind, but it needs to be testing)
