Data Entry - Fill magento store from another site

Take around 1000 products and add images and code attributes from one site to new magento site.? I will import the basic product data. Then the images need uploaded to the products on magento. The new site has features which need coded from the description.? Such as White pinlock Insultator would need the color: white seleted, type: pinlock selected.? The data is mostly in the descriptions but when it is not you would list on a spreadsheet for a salesperson to answer.
