Hello,
The bid is an estimate only for time and costs until we can get a better picture of what needs to be done. There are many, many ways to do this, and the final project time and costs will depend on these. Also, whether actual firmware is developed, control requirements, hardware interfacing, etc. will need to be determined. We will also need to decide what the final production costs for the device will be and whether this is for commercial or one-time use, as that will affect the production costs and design roadmap.
2016-12-02: Based on this new input, are you dispensing a fixed volume or trying to regulate flow rate? Also, what kind of flow meter are you using (totalizing vs. frequency vs. encoder vs. analog), better if you can give a model number and also how many points are you trying to control.
If this is for a commercial system, you might consider an expandable, modular system.
What accuracy are you expecting, and what temperature ranges to you expect the fluids to be at, and are the carbonated? All these will affect the measurement. How are you going to control the fluid flow? Will you be using air-activated valves or solenoids or ball valves? Will you be using metering pumps or tubing pumps? All of this affects system outputs and control algorithm.
I am also going to have to increase the cost and time of the bid to include prototype to get the firmware developed.
If you do not want custom board, let me know and I will update bid again.
