Building Business From Scratch - New Business Advice

Essentially, I am preparing to build a "trail mix" type business. I have created a successful trail mix formula and I am selling this at a very limited basis here in Florida. What I want is some advice on how to best to go about creating the formal business. What are the applicable laws? What do I need to do since this is essentially a food product. Based on my limited success, I want to expand into a full blown company. Your job is to explain to me how to do that.? That is all I need right now.? A plan.? And what are the various hoops that I will need to go through? Later, I will need a part-time virtual assistant as well as a website and internet marketing strategy.? So more work may be available.
