I work in a software called sidefx houdini. can create 3d models and animation. it is a unique software. models can be created procedurally. for client it is a big plus. for example. i made a 3d model of chair for you and one day you want this chair to have not a 4 legs ,but 6 or 15. or to change height or width and so on. you don't need a 3d modeller anymore. during modeling i can make an interface in this program so after it will be possible for you to change the parameters with one click. you wil have a sliders for different parameters of your chair and full control. you can't have it in other softwares and you all the time depend on 3d artist. with houdini everything is different. :)
