We use Queuemetrics for our call center and a user has requested that we give them the ability to create a specialized report from the database.
## Deliverables
We have data in a mysql database created by Queuemetrics Call Center application. This application is a front end to asterisk queues. We need a specfic report generated that is not availble from the Queuemetrics application directly. We would like someone to pull the relevant data from the DB and generate a report, preferably in PDF format. This script should run on Linux systems.
The specifics:
Effectively, we need a report that would allow the user to choose a range of dates AND
Within that range of dates, we would need you to sort and average the information by day of week AND THEN
Within each day of week, give us a average hourly breakdown of calls processed and calls abandoned.
That way the user will be able to determine that "during the Summer, on Tuesdays, between noon and 3:00PM we need to get more help at the call center, etc..
Preferably this should be written in an interpreted language. In order of preference Ruby (rails), Perl, Python, PHP
