Bicycle Registration Site

About: Would like to create a Publicly accessible site used for the registration of bicycles. This to replace the retired code at www.bikeregistry.com. This website will enable a Public User to permanently create a Member account and register as many of his bikes as necessary, with a JPG and full description of each, inclusive of serial number. If lost/stolen the bike owner could enable the bike to pop up on the Missing Bike page of this site. Style: Kind of like Wikipedia or Craigslist. Simple, minimal graphics. Some space on the border to place ads, etc. Technology: 1_Will need run on an existing Abyss web server hosted at my office. 32 bit box w/ MS Windows XP, Abyss X1 ver 2.5, PHP = ver 5.2.8, MySQL ver 5.1, Sendmail for MS called IndigoMail (same commands Linux sendmail) You will have full control via pcAnywhere to enable the final install. With some HTML. MySQL database needs to be able to handle up to 200,000 registered Members efficiently. 2_A small “Forum” for public user feedback. 3_Search for bikes by zip/postal code in USA/Canada. 4_Auto email response for certain functions (login pw retrieval, etc.) 5_A small ecommerce store (perhaps 15 items) implemented w/ PayPal checkout. 6_Auto-resize of submitted JPEG’s. 7_Must have some Administrator back-end capabilities. 8_Selected Providor must be capable of implementing all the small details as needed such that this site stays up and is trouble free. 9_ Must be well coded, bug/crash free and well documented such that it can be maintained ONLY PRO's who have excellent client feedback and PRIOR EXPERIENCE on SIMILAR projects may place bids. Ability to provide REFERENCES to websites that YOU built on similar platforms is a pre-requisite.. I will provide more details in the form of PowerPoint PM’d to qualified responders. This will provide a basis upon which to submit your final design and project submittal. Impt: I'm a Non-Techie person. It is important that the experienced pro understands my requirements from a layman's perspective and converts it into a tangible product.
