I have a Gallery script which is running on my site and is the basis of my business because certain clients pay for opinions on the images they upload. However, many of my clients have expressed a desire to have a piece of software on their computer that reguarly scans a local folder and then uploads those images directly to their own photo album.
At the moment I have setup a make-shift solution whereby an automatic FTP client, Fling, uploads the images to certain directories and then I manually import them into gallery. This is obviously extremely time consuming and painfully inefficient.
From a client point of view they should be able to:
> go to my site
> download a small piece of software
> install it
> set the local folder from which images will be copied
> set the interval for when the software will scan that folder
> enter their username and password
> set the album they want photos be uploaded to
> voila! photos are automatically uploaded to certain albums, saving me a lot of time!
I also want the software to automatically embed itself in the startup processes of the computer its installed on, on all user accounts.
Obviously this software must interact with Gallery 2 to make all this work.

the key to securing the work will be to explain to me how you are going to create a user-frinedly piece of software that is going to effectively interact with Gallery 2 Menalto. I need my users to login to my gallery through the software and be able to choose the album that will recieve the automatic uploads from their chosen local folder.

Please will all bidders look at Gallery Remote for guidelines: [login to view URL] This is the protocol in order to interact with Gallery: [login to view URL]:Protocol I basically want Gallery remote, but without the preview boxes or image altering or commenting. All I want is it to upload all of the latest images in a folder. Also, when a local folder is set, it must not start uploading everything in that local folder. My clients have thousands of images in these folders and FTPing everything would take an age. All I want is the latest and newest images to go up. The local files must not be moved, deleted, or tampered with in ANY way.
## Platform
This must work on windows 2000+, up to Vista
