Application that Scrapes and Handles Data for Notifcation System

This project is a small application that can capture data from a webpage and use it specific ways. Currently in South Australia we are suffering from regular bushfires and there is a need for an application to notify users of fires/incidents in their area. Incidents (Data) that need to be handled: <[login to view URL]> Whilst the program is running I would like a small icon on the taskbar next to the clock that is perhaps red and yellow. Whenever an incident occurs in an area that is relative to you (you would indicate what area you are in by region). I would like the software to ask the use which region they are in and notify them of things in their region only. There should be an option to view all incidents. While the program is hidden on the task bar I would like it to be checking the CFS website for more incidents every 20 minutes. Information about regions can be found here:? <[login to view URL]> I would like a screenshot or hand-drawn sketch of an idea you have on how to make this idea come to life. I would like to see any work you have completed before like this, if you have any. The user interface of this program is most important as it should be simple and easy to use for anyone. Once this project is complete the working software becomes property of me and only to be used by me.
