custom intranet needed

Please read this description before bidding. We need a custom made php/mysql intranet for our small company. The project winner will be given very specific visual guidelines and lists of required features and how they interact. No part of the project is difficult and I can give guidance on how to code any part of it (except the email part), though of course you can do it however you wish if the result works. The major work MUST be in php/mysql and well documented so that we can add to it as needed (visual features can be javascript, java, whatever). This program is standalone so you can create and we can test on your work environment. We will be available with quick answers/solutions to any questions. We could program it ourselves but do not have the time and wish to acquire good relationships with outside workers for ongoing website needs. An initial version of the project should be made available for our testing 10 days after I provide detailed specs (the documents attached are just rough outlines from my employees.. I will provide detailed specs and visuals to the project winner.) If you cannot meet this deadline please do not bid. I expect minor modifications will take a week further so that the entire project should be done in about 15 days. We may have overlooked a feature or connection that we require that we will notice after your initial completion, please adjust your bid to assume that we will require some unexpected modifications. You can use any existing freeware as a base if you wish (if doing so, I suggest [login to view URL] as does a lot of what we are after and is php/mysql) as long as it is php/html based Css table free layout for all pages is preferred but not required. As this is an intranet, usability and proper functioning are much more important than style. The sections of the intranet are as follows (a bunch of notes are enclosed, but as I said I will provide very detailed guidelines to the winner) Information pages – standard tree wiki, admin users should be able to add new node and branch pages and edit all pages from a page itself. All other users should be able to add notes on any page which are name and time stamped and can be deleted only by the user who created and admin. You can see a basic tree at our website [login to view URL] This part is extremely easy Login (Home) page – has a timeclock and displays company wide notes and a summary of users tasks/emails/schedule etc Admin sections has following features Add/edit user Add/edit group Permanent task – for daily assignment of tasks labelled ongoing Employee Schedule edit/view- view and edit all users schedules.. a collective view to see everyone on a day and individual view/edit Task creator – simple popup that lets a user view, create or edit a task (editing will be limited if user does not have permission on that task) Main task page- displays a users tasks with various search and display options.. it will be similar to [login to view URL] - very simple presentation Email page – a very simple interface (you can probably drop an existing one into this project) for users to send/receive basic pop3/smtp emails from an email account (if it can only be set up to retrieve from 1 external email that is ok, ideally there could be any number of accounts)… ideally this would simply be uniting a free email client into the program.. this is the only part of the intranet that I do not know how to do. This needs to be in the program as multiple users may access the same computer or the user may access from multiple computers, so a link to an email client on the dektop will not work. There will of course be user levels/restrictions special task features such as reminder dates and such. All in all it will be a straightforward project with complete clarity on every part except for the email which you should know how to do before bidding.
