I need a program that will scrape out some information out of a library catalog, namely the call number, the book title and the ISBN number when available. It needs to work with the website [login to view URL] . After I do a search and get a results list, it needs to put the call number, title and ISBN for each book in a row in Excel 2003. For example, if I search for the call number 004 in Central only I get a results list of 365 call numbers. I need this information for all books for these call numbers. NOTE: I've changed the description slightly from the original posting. The results list is grouped together by identical entries, instead of by book. For instance, if I search for "004", I will get of results list of 365 *call numbers*--004 A, 004 B, 004 C...004.999 Z, for example. If searching manually, I would have to click on each individual call number to list the books with that call number, and click on each title to get the isbn numbers I want to scrape out. In other words, the information I need is NOT in the results list, it is several screens in. THE PROGRAM MUST PAUSE BRIEFLY BEFORE REQUESTING EACH WEB PAGE FROM THIS SITE. It is essential that this program does not place a burden the website's resources. It merely needs to compile this information automatically, it does not need to do so faster than a human checking the pages manually.
