CSV Editor

I am looking for a very simple CSV file editor, with relatively few enhancements. Excel will do the job, but it's way too complex, and not everyone has a copy. The editor should display in a grid format, Excel style. It will only have to deal with 2 or 3 columns (see below). The number of records could be up to 2000. The seperator will always be a comma. New records should be easily created by typing on screen, that is, it shouldn't be necessary to have an insert button, or any extra forms. File...Open...to be split into 2 options, to open either an existing 2 column or 3 column file. likewise File...New... I also need to have a function to convert a 2 column file into 3 column format, by inserting a new column between the existing 2 columns. That option is disabled if the existing file is already 3 columns. I don't want a generic "insert column" facility in case the operator puts the new column in the wrong position. For 3 column files, I would like the facility to "flood" the centre column with a single value. this could be invoked from a menu item with a sub form and a text box to enter the flood value. Each record will be about 50 characters total. I would like a formatted print option which arranges the columns neatly, although this doesn't need to be too complex. Next bit may be difficult, so please specify if this affects the work and hence the price. The final column will always be a name, in the style First Last. If possible, I would like to be able to sort the records and rearrange into alphabetic order A-Z by Lastname. I will consider solutions that don't offer this. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform To be written in vb.net with fully commented code.
