Add Features to OSCommerce Forums Module

Job Description Code Bounty is a one time task where we need assistance with a particular well defined programming tasks. We currenty need a LAMP programmer who can extend the features of the open-source OS-Commerce Forums module. Features Already Available 1. Adequate database schema that are functional & tested with code 2. Ability to post message to forum 3. Ability to reply to existing messages 4. Login necessary to post to Forum (integrated with customers table) Features that Need to be Developed User Features 1. FCK-Editor/TinyMCE for composing messages (existing FCKE package to be reused) 2. Ability for users to edit their own messages (incl. replies). 3. Send notification to all users participating in post when a reply is posted 4. Anonymous postings need graphical authentication 5. Shop owner gets email with link when new topics are posted Admin Features 1. Create OSC Admin module for Forums 2. CRUD operations for Forums 3. Deactivate (not delete) selected posts Development Method Programmer can check-out code from SVN repository + install database script on local LAMP development machine. When done, the code is sent to us, which will then be uploaded to a staging server for test/bug-fixing purposes. When coded and fully tested, the Forums package will be posted to OS-Commerce Contributions site for the community in OSC's standard contribution format. Documenation for installing this updated Forums package needs to be included with the code. Bounty Value * 100 USD on successful submission * Expected completion - 1 day Resourcecs Forum OSC MS 2.2 ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
