Create clone of existing system. Make sure some type of mirroring is in place. Write script (in perl) to automatically set routes on alternate server. Build redundant system (via software; you of course provide hardware) as well as write custom clustering software to check primary system is up and running, otherwise, use redundant hardware to take over system.
