Distribution Management System Need a web based application for tracking shipments. A PHP application is a must using a MySQL database. Will need a admin backend for adding new users and shipment details. The frontend will require user/ID/pass authenication. Users will be able to view their shipment information as well as post notes or upload files to their personal message area. Admins must also be able to communicate using the message area and upload files. ## Deliverables Frontend = client login must consist of username, ID, and password... once user successfully logs they are directed to a page which will pull on overview of thier shipments from database *header company logo and contact info *clients name, ID, contact info, and shipment details *table containing the following info *underlined items are links*: (Contact | BOL | Ship From | Ship To | Pick-up | Drop-Off | Status | _Notes_ | _View Details_) *_NOTES_ - *small bulletin board type setup*... here the user may upload a message or file they must include name and email address... files must be accompanied by a message... every message/file must include a timestamp and must autosend a message to site admin notifing them of a message... when the admin replies in the notes area a notification should be sent to user. *_View details_ Status (last updated date pulled dynamically from the last update made by) Time (display date and time updates automatically)- information pulled from db which displays the following information within a table... (BOL | Date | Time | | State | City | Status | Notes |) *Backend Admin login area Links: New client | Modify Client | New Shipment | Shipment Details | Open Notes | Logout | *New client = aked to enter client, contact, contact info, username, ID, and password for account... after they hit submit button they should be sent to *Modify Client = List available clients, displaying in table format the info collected from New client page. The table should begin with a column titled edit with an icon which when clicked opens a new page which enables the admin to edit the details of the user selected. The second column should contain a delete icon to delete the clients account. *New Shipment = Admin asked to select a user from available accounts, then asked for BOL (an order#), Ship From, Ship To, Pick-Up Date, Drop-Off Date, Status (selected from drop-down menu; options Open, Assigned, Complete, In Transit, On Hold, Terminated). *Shipment Details = List available shipment, displaying results in a table as follows (_edit_, _add details_, _delete_, BOL, ship from, ship to, pick-up date, drop-off date, status) Edit - directs admin to a page which allows the admin to edit all shipment info. Add Details - directs the admin to a page where they can add shipment details (Date | Time | State | City | Status | Notes) *Open Notes - Displays open notes listed by Client then BOL (ie whoever #456) when whoever is selected shows all notes past and present from that user, when #456 is selected opens that note.
