We have a Linux Redhat dedicated server colocated with [login to view URL] services. Our previous system administrator activated an IP address blocking feature on the server to only allow a single IP address to administer the server through Putty. We still have the IP address, but it is in our office in Pune, India. We need a system administrator who can sit in our office in Pune, India so that they can use the IP address that is allowed to access the server so that we can add another IP address that is permitted to access the server.

Hello all,
I have just recieved an update from a junior staff member in our Pune India office and they have advised me that they are unable to Putty into the server even from that office. I think that maybe the IP address at that office has changed and no longer matches the list of permitted IP addresses that are allowed to access the server.
I am still hopeful, however, that this person in the Pune India office is not familiar with how to get access, so maybe they are not doing something correctly.
Can this server still be accessed any other way? Will spoofing an IP address work?
