We are looking to migrate our current Asterisk server (Asterisk At Home 2.7) to a new machine and a more current version of the program. We have had persistent hardware problems with the current Asterisk server, especially related to the drive, and now feel it is imperative that we move it to a new machine. At the same time, we think it probably makes sense to upgrade to a newer version of both Asterisk and the management UI.
The current server has 3 incoming land lines (X100 cards) and the new server will have 4. We also want to have some VOIP capabilities mostly for overflow. There are about 20 extensions that will also need to be moved. We have only one outgoing route and 1 incoming route. The new server will differ only in that it will have 4 incoming lines and new X100 cards.
Both servers will be available over the web for configuration. We really don't care how you migrate it, so long as it is reliable.
In your proposal, please include:
Your recommendation for the UI that we should use (Trixbox, AsteriskNow, or other),
An estimate of how long it will take, and
A cost estimate
