Cute Character Needed

I'm about to open a personal site and I need a friendly, cute and melting character to appear here and there. I tried to scan my hdd and the web for a cute character of what I mean and I found only this very very tiny gif (attached). I'll try to descirbe "him": He's some sort of an alien-nerd, big eyes, that looks at you with this "huh?" face? tripps down all the time, etc. I don't need a logo design, just a colorized character in a reasonable (300x300) size I can stick on my web pages. Also, I will ask for: A. 4-5 versions of the character doing all sort of funny stuff. i.e - the same charcter but once: sitting, once: scratching the head etc. B. Nlack/white version of it so I can use it as letterhead/fax only for the big character. If you can suggest a color scheme for the site that goes well with the person you painted, that'll be great! Because I'm an individual on this project, I can't pay much. but I don't require any deadline. feel free to finish the project in the next 1-2 months. 2 Revisions.
