City of Arvada Kids Page Flash

Introduction The City of Arvada, Colorado is in the final stages of a redevelopment project for our public website. Our anticipated go-live date is September 9, 2005. We are seeking bids for a flash developer to help with the kid’s page section of our website. The main navigation page will be a mural with Arvada landmarks which provide links to either informational or “fun pages??. ## Deliverables Please price each deliverable separately as we may need to pick and choose which features we can implement on day one. The City will provide all artwork for each of the pages. To get ideas regarding a design we like please see the City of Denver’s kids page at [login to view URL] 1. Create a flash animation page (using artwork provided) with rollover effects, sounds, and links to subsequent pages. We will have approximately seven elements requiring action. 2. Create a page using a caricature of our mayor with an audio file describing how our government is organized. The City will provide a script to the successful bidder. 3. Create an animated flash timeline with rollover effects that provide visual and textual information. When you rollover a milestone, a picture and informational paragraph should display. 4. Create a navigable “slideshow?? with as many as 50 pictures depicting the Ralston creek trail. The visitor should be able to view the whole show or click on a specific spot on the trail and go to a picture. 5. Create a coloring book application. The City has a nature center and we would like to have a coloring page to coincide with the animal of the month. The picture will change each month. 6. Create a game page based on the environment. Our concept here is to have a trash can with various types of garbage which can be dragged into the trash can. When you place paint or other toxic waste in the can it should tell you the proper disposal method, the same goes for recyclable items. 7. Create an on-line puzzle using a drawing or photograph. All Flash deliverables shall include both a Flash animation file (.swf) and the working parent file that it was generated from (.fla). In addition, any other images, code or components that are required for the functionality of the Flash files shall also be considered deliverables and must be included. Other: Because this project is being completed for a city government, the winning bidder may be asked to supply personal information for a background check. Only bid on this project if you are willing to submit to a background check. ## Platform Flash files to run on Linux redhat 3.0 to be viewed by current release browsers (IE, Mozilla, etc)
