add a engine to metasearch script

I recently bought a metasearch script and there is no support from the author. The description for the script was that it would be easy to add more search engines, wich it's not for me. I know some php but not enough to add more search engines. I need someone who can add 1 extra searchengine to this script and describe in detail how it was done, so that I might be able to add more in the future.
