ActiveWorlds-like system

The goal of this project is to make a 3D Chat just like the one from ActiveWorlds Company ([login to view URL]). This means the software will need classi c3D chat functions such as accounts, avatars, whispering, bubbles (if possible).. AND enhanced one such as building, permissions (for access, build, chat, whisper), ... The project would be componed of a Client, a Central Server, and a World Server who could manage many worlds. We are a non-profit organization, so we will select the more interresting bid for us. Coders will have the right to use the program even after we would buy it. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working programs in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows : A working executable for the platforms asked to make the project work on. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). We will however accept that the coder makes a non-profit use of the software. ## Platform The software would have to run AT LEAST on windows XP but making it possible to work under Linux would be a great plus (essentially for the servers).
