Create a GUI application which will browse a Microsoft Word document and extract sections and save to GIF files. The project must be able to be built using CodeGear RAD Studio 2007. We would prefer C++ builder, but any of the personalities will be considered. The Word document (see attached) contains approx 15 Mathematical Questions and Solutions that are to be extracted and copied to a file. Currently the extraction and gif creation is performed manually by Copying from the Word Document and Pasting into a 'Paint' type application. The document is divided into separate questions and solutions by tags (not HTML). !q=n (eg !q=3 (for question 3)) !s=n (eg !s=3 (for solution 3)) !i=1 (special introduction - see below) !t=1 (just ignore this tag) Therefore Question 3 would be represented by the text/graphics between the !q=3 tag and the next tag (typically the !s=3 tag). And Solution 3 would be represented by the text/graphics between the !s=3 and the next tag (typically !q=4). Note that the tags should not be included You can assume that the tag is always at the first position in the paragraph. The resulting question and solution Gif files should be named as [login to view URL] and [login to view URL] respectively, (where nnn is a 3 digit question number including leading zeros). So for Question 3 the files [login to view URL] and [login to view URL] should be created. For the !i=1 tag, you should create q999.gif. The resulting gif files are to be created in the same directory as the parent doc file. The user must be able to browse for the doc file and within a given instance of the application the browse dialog must open at the previously selected directory (not, for example, at some default directory each time). The user should be able to select to create 'All' Questions and Solutions in a doc file or just individual ones eg Question 3 with or without a solution. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). 4) The Application must consist only of a single executable (no other applications or files) unless agreed otherwise by the buyer. 5) The application shall contain no 3rd party components or libraries unless first approved by the buyer. 6) The project must be able to be built using CodeGear RAD Studio 2007 7) The resulting application must be compatible with Word XP. 8) The created Gif files must be of approximately the same physical size and proportion as the original Word Document (ie same size text and graphics). The width of the gif should be trimmed to the width of the widest line of text or graphic in the section. A small, user adjustable margin should be applied to all sides of the gif. ## Platform Windows 2000 and later. Must be able to be built with CodeGear Rad Studio 2007
