Configure a Wamp server (running on Win7)

Hi I have installed WAMP server ([login to view URL]) on my Windows 7 Computer. I have everything working but I cant get the smtp to work. I looked at docs and it says WAMp does not come with mail server. However, I can download the [login to view URL] to send emails with the PHP (mail) function. Something is not working as I have a form which calls to [login to view URL] on submit but instead of working when I press submit Windows is asking me how do I want to open [login to view URL] I need someone to configure this for me and get the email function working. I am setting this server to serve a website to lan users only although the server has internet connection so I think emailing a form submitted by user to a internet email address should be possible.
