We might take some time to decide on the bid as the project is not finalized yet. We need a search engine for a site having 1500+ documents in .html format. The size of documents is 100mb(total) approx collected over the last 7-8 yrs. Search should display results according to date with latest on top. Provision to allow users to choose year for their search. And should be simple with not too many drop boxes, etc. We would like the search to installed on the site. Counter to describe **number of visitors to site,** note not the number of hits. A record for this number for the last 7-8 days. We have a discussion forum which is open, allows people to publish their views w/o any delay. We need a tool to administer this forum. And stop people from abusing and putting irrelevant messages. We don't want to have a loginid password mechanism as this does not go with our requirement. Also we don't want to delay the user's posting. An automatic mechanism to send weekly statistics report of search and forum by email. Also should allow weekly stats to be generated whenever required. General improvement to the site, viz, easy mechanism to search for documents with their respective numbers.
