Custom MSBuild Project

The task is to create MSBuild project file to build several assemblies and executables. It should be single MSBuild project file. I will not supply Projects to be build; instead you should create 3 sample projects that have following characteristics: Projects should be? interdependant, i.e Project 1 : assembly (no dependancies) Project 2: assembly (dependent on Project 1, i.e in Project 2 .csproj file there is a reference to Project 1 Project 3: executable (references to projects 1 and 2) ? etc. Projects 1, 2 and 3 have standard references to .NET assemblies, such as [login to view URL], XML, Reflection etc. They may also have references to the third-party assemblies. ## Deliverables Structure of the directories for the projects is: Project1 Project2 Project3 SampleRefAssembly Projects 1, 2 and 3 are C# projects. Each project is signed with strong? name key file and password (see "Signing") page. Each project has version info. I? want to be able to set version info either for all projects together in a single item, or to be able to override the version info per project. Each project has signing info. I would prefer to have single name key file and password for all Projects (1, 2 and 3) and be able to set it up either in MSBuild project file or from Msbuild command prompt In general I would like to be able to set all or majorities of project properties that I can set in VS2008 for C# projects in this MSBuild project file Project 1, 2 and 3 should reference sample reference assembly that is located? in SampleRefAssembly directory and is build separately from MSBuild project. Projects 1, 2 and 3 should have one sample class included as a link to these projects and <Item> for this class should be located in separate <ItemGroup> of the MSBuild Verification of the succcessfull results of the build for these 3 projects will be done as following: I will build these projects from their respective .csproj files and compare output with the output produced by msbuild project. These outputs should match completely, including versions of the system assemblies.
