We are developing a blogging service that accepts posts from the nokia lifeblog application which is based on the atom api but does not follow it completely. We need someone to build an
interface that can be used with our planned blogging services.
Its quite simple and really just involves processing xml files: <[login to view URL]>
We need the front end of this developed that will process a typical Blog and save the basic details of the post to a database
- Validate and accept an incoming blog request (make sure it is valid as per lifeblog specifications)
- Functionally to validate user exists and can post based on WSSE used in lifeblog specifications
- Simple functionality to save post: Any Media files to be saved to file system with unique filename and other post data to be saved to a flat database table including user ID, Blog text and media file locations in the file system)
- Lifeblog posts are made in xml and processing should be done as efficiently as possible as large volumes of posts need to be catered for
-Complete source code must be provided in vb.net and any sql scripts
- Must be completely tested with lifeblog software which can be downloaded from nokia
- Ability to save large media files included in post such as videos
What isn’t required
- A system to create the users, display blogs or any back end interfaces
