An android application having Google's Firebase authentication, realtime database, cloud messaging for university car ride sharing.

Scenario: I study in a University where there aren't any(or very less and expensive) public transport. Some of the students have cars and most of the students don't. Students want to go shopping, their work place and other places. Public Cab service is very expensive. Some students with car are ready to give other students ride for cheap rate. Problem: But its difficult for those who have car and those who need ride to meet. One doesn't know who is available when or who is ready to give a ride for cheaper price than other drivers. Solution: I want to solve this problem by creating a mobile app for those students. It will be an android app (iOS app will be developed later). Students should be able to register via Google and Facebook. Those who want to register as driver should have proof of ownership of car. When a student requires a ride, he creates a request with starting point, destination,date,time etc. When request is submitted, all those students who have registered as drivers, will get a push notification that some one created a request. When the driver student clicks on the notification, he will be taken to the page(activity) where he can place his offer. App should be created such that future addition to it won't be hectic. Code should be documented/commented. Future upgrades will be done by me,so I should be able to understand the code. As Google's Firebase has authentication, realtime database, cloud messaging, cloud functions we will use it.
