Android Development, add menuoption to email-app

We are looking for small program/example that shows how to add a menu item to the android email applications menu, i.e the menu that is displayed when pressing the menu-button in the email application. When this button is pressed the text of the currently displayed email should be sent to a second android application that displays the text. This will later be used by our developers as a starting point and should therefore be documented well in the code.
