Hi, I'm Lakshitha from Sri Lanka and I would like to work for you in this project. Well as you have described using PID algorithms is the most reliable and accurate way to control such applications. You have clearly explained your project, however, I have few questions to ask. how have you planned to control the flow rate of the gas torch? Using a servo or some other electrically controlled valve. Have you planned any safety features in your project? I suggest adding as much as possible safety features in this kind of projects. use a gas sensor and always make sure that the torch is ignited when the valve is open. Otherwise, if the torch is blown off and the temperature drops, the controller will open the valve in order to increase the temperature. Which will finally result in filling the room with gas.
