A continuous ethanol distillation column designed with the following specifications: Wash(beer) input approximately 11 - 27 liters per minute Column diameter approximately 304.8 mm Column packing IMTP 25 mm saddles Interior height of building is 5638 mm The distillation process can be divided into 3 or 4 columns 5000-5200 mm in height Single run to produce finished spirit. Ability to produce low (25%) proof spirit to neutral (95%) spirit Continuous heads(methanol, propanol, etc) removal via a demethylizing column Effluent (tails) less than 1% alcohol Heating and cooling loads Electrical service requirements Designed to be fully automated and computer controlled via PLC
