About DQR: Digital quantitative research is a German limited liability company (GmbH) specializing in financial engineering and software development for trading systems in digitalized economies. Here quantitative models are used to forecast price behavior and write financial instruments based on digital commodities. Job Description: We are searching an API Engineer (preferably familiar with Bitcoin exchange API infrastructure) to connect (bridge) a MATLAB quantitative pricing engine. Here the engine will generate trading signals in which quotes shall be pushed, pulled, cancelled or updated on the exchange via the ‘designed’ API bridge. Furthermore we have to set up an API connection to different bitcoin exchanges (Bitfinex, Kraken, GDAX) to get real time quote and trade data as an input for the MATLAB pricing engine. Qualifications: Advanced skills in Python or Java. Good skills in MATLAB Familiar with Bitcoin API Infrastructure Preferred Bachelors/Masters qualification in software engineering Electronic trading knowledge an advantage Support: API documentation with examples Exchange test environment to stress test the connection Skype meeting with the exchange developer if needed Opportunity: This project is part of a larger portfolio of projects to automate trading systems via quantitative models development in 3rd party softwares. The selected candidate which delivers successful results will be invited to participate in future projects.
