Android Social Networking App

**Overview** The app has realtime chatrooms, instant messaging, friends lists, user search, user profiles, and photo uploads from the phone. ## Deliverables **Overview** The app has realtime chatrooms, instant messaging, friends lists, user search, user profiles, and photo uploads from the phone. This project is ONLY for the app side. The server is complete, and details for the API can be found in the download. **Connection Details** -All of the data is sent back in forth via POST requests to a PHP page. -All data is in JSON format. **Additional Details** Each section of the app will have an advertisement on it. The ad is refreshed anytime a new screen is opened. It gets the ad data via a GET request to a server and is returned in HTML. This must be written in native android code. The app must also check for new messages when closed. If new messages are found, it will present them in the standard android notification drawer. **Future Projects** I would prefer someone who has experience in writing iPhone apps as well, for doing the same app again in a future project. I would prefer someone who will be available for future projects to extend this app as well. **The attached API documentation and design files provide far more information about what the app will need to do.
