Competitor SEO Analysis

For the past several years we have worked incredibly hard to build our SEO and drive traffic. We have an Alexa rank under 1,000,000 (globally) and rank between 2nd and 4th for most of our major search terms. Our images and links have alt/title tags, we have a very active blog and we make excellent use of header tags. For the past six months a competitor has been locked in the #1 position for most search terms. Their website is very basic, their Alexa ranking is poor and their Google PR is less than ours. I have absolutely no idea how they continue to maintain such high rankings and consistently beat us out. They have very little content and no blog either. We are looking for someone who will analyze this competitor and find out what they are doing so well and how we can match or beat those efforts. We do NOT want a thousand bids with generic messages about increasing our SEO. We want to hear specifics about how you plan to analyze the competitor and your experience in these matters.
