Design project

I need a logo designed. We are looking to have logo designed for our church, Northeast Church. We'll use the logo on our website, and all our promotional materials and possibly on a new outdoor sign. We are looking for something simple. We would like a single color that can be changed depending on where we are putting it. The congregation has been in this neighborhood, in this building for 60 years. The church is beginning a new life cycle and we view ourselves as missionaries and the church as a missionary outpost. We are moving away from having lots of programs to havingfewer, but higher quality, more effective [login to view URL] are putting more and more emphasis on reaching out to our neighborhood through service projects, and investing our energy into training new leaders. Our congregation is a pretty close group, who share their lives with each other. Our greatest strength may be welcoming and accepting people. The saving message of Jesus is our driving force. We seek to be a light of hope in a dark world, and invite people into freedom through relationship with Jesus Christ. The name Northeast comes from our location in the city. We sometimes use NE in printed material but not when it is going to people unfamiliar with us. We are one of many smaller churches in the neighborhood, most of which have older shrinking congregations. The neighborhood is racial mixed and made up of mostly middle class families and working poor single moms.
