Alter an image

I work with many corporations and media companies, usually designing websites and production materials. My specialty is the strategy and the copywriting, and I always lots of small jobs, usually design or graphics, that I need help completing. The client has a .GIF that we want to extend the frame to include their company name. Basically, a square that we need to change into a rectangle and add their lettering to the right. For some one with the skills experience, this job could be done in under one hour.
