CoinCitizen Website Plan 1.0 General: Website and shop for people who want to learn how to use and spend bitcoins. We help people to understand how they can buy and use bitcoins by offering easy-to-read articles and then we also offer then t-shirts and other stuff that are all bitcoin-related and can be bought with bitcoins. Main sections of the site: Bitcoin Guide - Static set of articles How-to get and spend bitcoins Shop - where we sell t-shirts, etc. and you can buy those only with bitcoins News - posts about new places and ideas around living with bitcoins Bitcoin Talk - forum to ask about bitcoins Design: Lets keep design light with lots of white. Currently fonts are little weak so we should look to [login to view URL] and think what makes that look good or [login to view URL] (where I really like the header) Generally 2 column design with main columns on left. Shopping pages should be with just one column. Header: Lets make header full width as that looks better. Not it is too high, so little lower will be better White back ground with CoinCitizen logo (full size logo can be found below) with slogan “bitcoin living” Social media links in same orange as the logo DE6A10 and same circle design as you have on [login to view URL] but smaller of course. Position of social media icons could on on a right side of the page same height as logo Primary Menu with just 3 links : News, Bitcoin Guide, Shop and then shopping cart icon and “bitcoin accepted here” logo on right hand side Primary Menu font should be all caps, like on [login to view URL] We don’t need top menu now, so you can delete that Promotion slider: 980 wide right under the Primary Menu Two main promotions: Get Started With Bitcoin with link to “Get Started” article Got Bitcoins? Get t-shirt - 100% organic made by Howies just £19.90 (only bitcoins accepted) Shop: Main column promotion of 3 t-shirts so that each shirt have large image, name and price and “Buy Now” underneath with link to the shop. Latest Articles: Posts (summaries) of latest articles together with images and links “continue reading” that goes to actual posts. It would be great if I can post here both, Bitcoin Guide articles (which are made as pages) and News (posts) 3-5 articles visible on front page and then footer comes after these. Footer: Should be with four columns: Bitcoin Talk (latest comments from forum) Latest Tweets (five latest tweets) from @coincitizen Column with links to following pages: About us, Design a t-shirt and Social Media Icons and links Bitcoin News (links to bitcoin news websites, like those two links now) Second column (right side): Shop: 5 latest products from the shop with bigger image than it is now Underneath those 5 promotions, we need a little info box with this text “We believe in cryptocurrency and therefore CoinCitizen accepts only bitcoins.
