design a logo for a consulting company

Convergent Consulting provides mangagement consulting services to a wide variety of industries but is mainly focussed on the media and telecommunications industries. We are are after an 'abstract' logo that may or may not make use of the Convergent Consulting name. ( If it doesn't make use of the name, then the name must appear adjacent the new logo and you will need to design that in as well). The logo will be used on business cards, website and office collateral. 'Convergent' was chosen as a business name 10 years ago to reflect the convergenece of media, telecoms and the web. I guess this phenomenum is now a reality so I'm not hung up pushing this meaning of convergence and it is probably better to keep it a fairly abstract concept as well. As a guide I attached one logo I quite liked, but copyright is owned by soemone else! After this logo is designed I want to refresh the web site, so more work may be at hand if this is your skill base as well.
