Adjusting a simple .fla AS/Flash Project File

Hello! Attached you can find a small flash applet which plays a mp3 file from a XML file if you click on the applet. That is all this applet is doing. Now I need a little adjustment. I do not need a visual applet like the present one. I only need its functionality when I click on a html link. Clicking a link must start a JS onClick event to tell the swf file which of the mp3 clips listed in the XML file have to be played. Example: <a href="#" onClick="play(2);">this is the link text</a> Clicking that link calls the JS function play() overgiving the variable '2' and the JS function tells the swf file to play the second mp3 file from the XML file. That's all. I know there are a lot of ready players out there but I need one which preloads all mp3 clips so that it starts playing the clip without any delay after clicking and this applet is working in that way.
