1) Design and Simulation of MicroGrid: MicroGrids are increasingly considered as viable alternatives within Main Power System Network for enhancing reliability and availability of electrical supply to the [login to view URL] of this project is to design a typical MicroGrid which can provide electricity supply to various types of consumers and simulate designed MicroGrid using simulation s oftware such as Matlab. 2) Numerical Protection System for MicroGrid: Generation mix of a typical MicroGrid is complex as availability of some of generators is dependent on weather pattern. This aspect makes protection of MicroGrid complicated. Objective of this project is to propose numerical protection scheme for MicroGrid and evaluate how numerical protection can be incorporated for protecting of MicroGrid.
