Forced alignment is the process of taking a speech recording and its corresponding transcript and determining at what time each word is spoken. CMUSphinx is free, open source software which can perform this task.
I need an EC2 instance which can run forced alignment using CMUSphinx. Instructions on how to set this up can be found at [login to view URL] In addition to installing the software, some data are required to be in the right places.
As proof that this software has been correctly set up, I will provide you with a dataset of some transcripts and speech recordings and you will run the command which produces the alignment. This command should run from the command line and have only the audio and text files as variable parameters.
Hello, your project seems interesting and I'll be happy to help you with it! I haven't work with CMUSphinx yet, but I'll learn. Already have done a lot of projects on AWS. Thanks, Alex
Hi,
I hope you are fine. I have worked on AWS and have experience in Enterprise grade installations and deployments in reputable firms.
I like this opensource project, its a great way to enable site and server wide voice applciations etc.
