I need to meet all points mentioned in the assignment I already have the source code done Just need to answer questions   1. What is an agent-based simulation?  Provide two small examples as part of your answer.     2. Explain the terms "micro-behaviour" and "macro-behaviour".  What causes each type of  behaviour?  Give an example of each kind of behaviour.     3. Explain the classic "Boids" simulation.  Describe the micro-behaviour and the macro-behaviour in this well-known simulation.     4. Choose an example of an agent-based simulation and list the rules for one of the agents in that particular simulation.  Explain what is meant by priority order and give an example of the type of condition that ensures that a certain rule will not always be executed.     5. Give a typical set of rules for the prey animats in an agent-based predator-prey simulation.     6. Altruistic predators can be shown to benefit both the predator and prey populations.  Explain how altruism benefits both populations and also describe the circumstances that are needed for the populations to benefit from altruism.     7. Write an outline of the main program for a simple predator-prey simulation.  Do not write detailed code but you should explain what is happening at each step.             159.240 Programming for the Computational Sciences          Assignment 3   Write a simple agent-based predator-prey simulation.  The main aim is to achieve a simulation that keeps going for at least 2000 steps without the populations going extinct.   This is Part A of the predator-prey simulation.  It is very important to get your simulation working so that you will be able to do Part B of the simulation (which is to carry out some experiments with your simulation).   Note that these two parts make up most of the internal assessment of the paper (i.e. 25 marks).           DEADLINE: 11pm on Thursday 19 December 2013   You are strongly encouraged to work in groups of 1 to 3 students.  Make sure that *ALL* the names of students in your group are included in a comment at the start of the program.  Make sure that *your* ID number is included.
