ATL component that lists running processes

Create an ATL component that is able to run on Win2000/XP/Vista/2003/2008 and that can list all the running processes of a Windows system (remote AND local). (using WMI is NOT an option!) The component should be able to - list the running processes when running within an application AND service. - give some parameters per process like the Task Manager does (explain which ones in your bid answer) What is should also do * (remote)Authentication must be possible (providing username/password) and an error-ignorelist possible too. * one of the parameters of the component is a timeout (in seconds) <- if the component can't provide the info within the given timeout then end correctly * report clear errors (both errornumber and error description) <- provide a list of possible errors * clearly explain WHAT is needed on the remote system in order for the component to work (we need this in the BID answers!) Also create an example in VB6 that clearly shows how to get the list of running processes on a remote system (WITH authentication), and how to get the "parameters" of one process. Example of usage: [login to view URL](hostname,username,password,timeout) [login to view URL](hostname,username,password,timeout,processname,parametername) (this is just an example on how it could be done, it does NOT show how it HAS to be done, as the errorpart and the actual return is NOT handled in this) Make sure to CLOSE handles within your component, and NOT to have mem/handle/... leaks in your component as this component should be able to run 24/7! ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
